Cellular rubber for every application – precisely tailored and versatile

  • EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer)
Ethylene-propylene-diene rubbers (abbreviation EPDM) are terpolymers made from ethylene, propylene and an undefined diene. EPDM is a synthetic rubber. The rubber-elastic material EPDM is used in a wide range of industrial applications, e.g. in automotive and appliance construction, for hoses for washing machines and dishwashers, seals in water fittings, for cable sheathing, etc. In buildings, EPDM waterproofing membranes are used to seal floors, basements, door and terrace elements and roofs.

  • CR (Cloroprene Rubber / Neoprene)
Chloroprene rubber, also known as polychloroprene or chlorobutadiene rubber (abbreviation CR), is a synthetic rubber known in German-speaking countries as neoprene. It is used in the automotive industry and for building and bridge bearings, among other things.
  • NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)
Acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, also known as nitrile rubber, abbreviated to AB and NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber), is a copolymer of acrylonitrile and 1,3-butadiene and is a synthetic rubber. Vulcanizates of this rubber are highly resistant to mineral oils, greases and hydrocarbons.

  • NR SBR (Natural rubber + SBR)
Natural rubber (abbreviation NR) is characterized by very high tensile strength, rebound resilience, elasticity, flexibility at low temperatures and dynamic properties. The main components are natural rubber from the rubber tree and carbon black, along with a few other auxiliary and processing materials. Natural rubber is obtained from the sap of the rubber tree. This latex sap is stabilized and then exported as raw rubber for further processing. Styrene-butadiene rubber (abbreviation SBR, derived from styrene-butadiene rubber; also styrene-butadiene copolymer, abbreviation SB) is a copolymer of 1,3-butadiene and styrene.
